WTF

I woke up this morning and immediately started surfing the net. I haven't moved since then, save to get myself some coffee. Something is wrong here.

I feel like there isn't enough time in the day to absorb everything that I see on the net. And I've subscribed to so many things that keeping up to date is getting quite difficult. Fluther is addicting as hell (thank Ceiling Cat it isn't more popular), my favourite Youtubers keep posting awesome videos (seriously, stop it, guys), and I keep finding more and more sites to explore. Damn Internet. Why do you have to be so amazing?

But I love it. Why can't I just do this for a while? Oh, yeah. There's work to be done. And there's an Oasis concert in a few hours...

I need to get more pictures on this blog. Too much text is bad for your health.

New time waster (as if I need one) - fluther.com. You ask questions and get answers. You answer questions and get lurve. It's that simple.

The site seemed limitless, at first, until I realized that no one on there really shares the same interests as me. Many are knowledgeable about computers, and everyone has an opinion on music and religion, but other than that it's a little dry. Also, the people who have been there a long time tend to ignore the noobs. I guess that's the way it is everywhere...

Also, I only JUST started getting RSS feeds. I'd heard about them, but thought it was some complex process to get them. To make using them easier, I've downloaded the Better GReader plugin for Firefox. Better GMail is making me smile also =D

It's only a matter of time before I start using del.icio.us and digg and all those fun things.

Note to self: I should start embedding videos in here, too. Mmmmhmmmmm...

I think I use the word pwned way too much.

Yesterday (as in Tuesday) I quit my job. I'm off to greener pastures. Actually, I'm planning to get a job about 300 ft from my last one, at a REAL Starbucks. No joke.

That being said, I feel like I gotta reevaluate my priorities. I haven't been reading nearly as much as I should have. Maybe I should commit to a project like ArtGeek81 to motivate me.

Really, I just need to get off Youtube. I just passed 19,000 video views...

New Word

In my last post, I used the word "smexy", which is something I sometimes say IRL because it sounds right. But I think a more appropriate word would be "spexy". As in, it has many good specs and it's sexy. Spexy. Think about it.
